Hey, It has been a crazy couple of weeks! I'm sorry that I missed last week. Week 5 we talked about worship and this past week we talked about a little bit of everything! We also at the start of week 5 launched wave 1 of tour!!
The week on worship wrecked me. One of things pointed out is how you have to break spiritual ground before you can break physical ground. spiritual ground is fought and broken through worship. They talked about how in 1 Samuel 10:5 they sent in the worshippers prophesying before the army. They went into many other great nuggets but that one really changed my perspective of what worship is. Worship is not just for getting ready for a sermon, its not for holy spirit goose bumps, it is for fighting in the spiritual realm and touching the heart of God.
This past week we talked about being sent and the current state of the world. We had a couple of really awesome missionary talk about the call and following the call to the mission field. One of the best things we talked about was that to not get burnt out you have to full of intimacy with Jesus. It seems simple, but it is so easy to try and do the Lords work in your own strength. You can only love God and others to the level in which you understand how God loves you. Simplified, God shows us how to love so if we never learn from him we can never truly love others well. A side note this is not just for people in traveling missions it is the same if you had a 9-5 and a 401K. Intimacy with God is essential to any Christian life.
WAVE 1! In years past we just had the "Carry The Love" tour that happened in the spring. This year in the wake of the global pandemic the riders felt called to start going now. We are being sent out in "waves", which means that their will be more legs of tour happening across the US RIGHT NOW! They are gathering in fields (with covid regulations) and starting revival. I am still going out in the spring but we have teams of riders going out and starting to toil in the fields.
The last thing is that I need to raise $2000 dollars for my tour fee. That fee covers gas and any emergencies that may happen on tour. If you would like to help out with that cost you can donate via my equipment link below!
